Books about two powerful women
Ingun Christensen has written two engaging stories which are partly fiction and partly based on historical documents and myths. The first is about Guðrun Sjúrðardóttir who was the wealthy mistress of Húsavík. The story is partly based on fiction and partly on letters from the 14th and 15th century. The second book is about the Prime Minister's daughter who has to hide to avoid being kidnapped by French seafarers. The story is based on tales and other historical documents and takes place in the first half of the 18th century. The books are published by BFL.
