New in Translation
Fractura Nasi by Høgni Mohr was published in 2017 and became one of the best selling novels that year. The novel has been translated into Danish by Kirsten Brix and published by Amanda Books. It is a narrative non-fiction roadtrip story in which the author goes on a bike trip to all the towns in the Faroe Islands in his search for answers to grief, deception and nonsense traditions. The novel is full of humour, criticism and agony; Høgni cries, laughs and hits hard, but does not get lost in artistic imprudence. Film rights have been sold to Tórfinnur Jákupsson.
