Karmageitin in Norwegian
Marjun Syderbø Kjelnæs’ poetry collection “Karmageitin” (The Karma Goat) which is nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2023 is now published in Norway. The Norwegian title is “Karmageita” and it is translated into Norwegian by Lars Moa and published by Orkana.
“Karmageitin” was published last year by publisher Ungu Føroyar as a literary double work together with the pop-horror-comedy play “Gentukamarið” (The Girl’s Room).
FarLit is rooting for Marjun to win the Nordic Council Literature Prize in the fall and we hope that this translation opens her poetry up to Scandinavian readers.
