Looking back at 2023
2023 is coming to an end and we are now looking back to see what we accomplished during this year.
In total FarLit supported 22 translations of books into 10 languages. We also had the pleasure of participating in the book fairs in Bologna and Frankfurt with a stand and also in London and Gothenburg.
In the autumn, we released our catalogue Books from the Faroe Islands which is still available on our website.
In addition to this, FarLit is excited to share the news that organizers can now apply for a travel grant to bring authors and lecturers from the Faroe Islands to their events. Read about the travel grant HERE for more information. FarLit has also introduced an additional round for the translation and production grants now with three deadlines to choose from on February 1st, June 1st, and October 1st.
