New Estonian Translation

New Estonian Translation

The picture book “Strikurnar” (en. The Lines) has been published in Estonia. The Estonian title is “Jooned” and the book is translated by Andry Arro.

“Strikurnar” is a story about a boy who loses his grandad and then the lines appear. And they are everywhere. On the tiles out in the yard. On the ceiling above his bed at night. Everywhere. He has to count them or something bad will happen. What to do when you see lines everywhere and you can't talk to anyone about it?

The book is written by Dánial Hoydal and illustrated by Annika Øyrabø. Originally published by BFL in 2022.

“Jooned” is published by Nordur.
