"Wilbert" in Germany
"Wilbert" by Bárður Oskarsson will be published in Germany by the Kullerkupp Kinderbuch Verlag on 6 March. "Wilbert" is a story about an unusual game of hide-and-seek full of detours, laughter, and questions about how we see the world around us. It was first published in the Faroe Islands in 2016 by BFL, and last year it was published in Denmark, where it got a "five out of six stars" in Politiken, and in Canada & the US where it has been described as having "a distinctly different approach to storytelling" (Kirkusreviews.com). "Wilbert" has also been selected for the IBBY Honour List 2018.
