The first crime novel by Jógvan Isaksen released in Norway

The first ever crime novel published by a Faroese author was "Blíð er summarnátt á Føroyalandi" by Jógvan Isaksen. It was published in 1990 and was the kick-off of now 10 novels by Isaksen in the series about journalist Hannis Martinsson. It has been published in Denmark, Iceland and now soon in Norway. "Blid er sommarnatta" has been translated by Lars Moa and will be launched by Bokbyen Forlag in March at the Krimfestivalen in Oslo 8-10 March. On 9 March at 3.45 pm Norwegian author Tom Egeland will have an interview with Jógvan Isaksen and four authors from Norway about their crime novels at Teaterkjeller’n, Centralteatret, Akersgata 38 in Oslo.
