Awards and recognition: Beinir Bergsson won the EBBA Award in 2018 and was nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2022.
Bio: Beinir Bergsson was born in 1997. His first collection of poetry, Tann lítli drongurin og beinagrindin (The little boy and the skeleton) (2017), has been translated into Icelandic and Greek. Sólgarðurin (The Suntrap) was nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize and Prism Award. In 2018 Beinir received the Ebba Prize, awarded to young Faroese writers of exceptional talent. Beinir is also a prolific commentator on contemporary art and creativity as co-host of the culture programme Samværi on KVF, the Faroese national broadcaster.
