New children's book: "Miljuløtur"

Today the children's book "Miljuløtur" by Rakel Helmsdal is being published by BFL. This is book number 21 that Rakel has written and published. She is known for the popular "Monster book series" which she has co-written with Icelandic Áslaug Jónsdóttir and Swedish Kalle Güettler. Rakel has previously written several books using the same fantasy location of "Port Janua", which is also where the stories about the girl Milja is set. Milja is 12 years old and lives with her mum and dad. In this book Milja shares 12 stories about fun things that have happened to her since she was as only 7. Milja’s best friend is called Jelena and together they get up to all sorts of adventures. Everyday events get a whole new dimension when seen through Milja’s eyes. The book is illustrated by Kathrina Skarðsá.
