New Poetry Collection
Our most productive poet, Tóroddur Poulsen, has released a new poetry collection with the title “Tann ákærdi boðberjin”.
As always, Tóroddur callenges the reader's imagination and interpretation skills. The title is a word play on the phrase “The accused messenger” in English. The Faroese word for messenger is “boðberi” (boð: message, beri: deliverer = deliverer of message), “berjast” means to fight. The twist of exchanging beri with berji makes the title something along the lines of “The accused messenger/fighter”.
Tóroddur Poulsen’s poems are full of humour and refined twists. The collection has 108 pages and is published by Sprotin. Tóroddur Poulsen made the artwork on the front cover.
