New Essay Collection: Tað tómliga tolsemið
“Tað tómliga tolsemið” (The hollow tolerance) is the title of an essay collection by Høgni Mohr. The themes of the seven essays all cirle around the concept of tolerance. We see the world through the rather naked perspective of the author who is, in his own words, on a existential journey on his bike. He takes stock of meaningless discussions, of Denmark and Faroese politicians. He wants us to fight against tourism and overconsumption. In poetic and musical narratives, he discusses old bullying habits and divorce, and has an open confrontation with the concept of tolerance.
