New Illustrated Children's Book
"Strikurnar" is a new illustrated children's book written by Dánial Hoydal and illustrated by Annika Øyrabø. The book is the second one by the award-winning duo who, only a few weeks ago, won the Westnordic Council's Children and Youth Literature Prize for their "Abbi og eg og abbi". "Strikurnar" is a story about a boy who, saddened by the loss of his grandfather, reacts with an obsessive compulsive disorder. All of a sudden he sees lines everywhere; between the flagstones in the courtyard, under all the doorsteps, in the ceiling above his bed. Everywhere.
