New Poetry Collection
“Hjúpuljóð” is the title of a new poetry collection by Malan Poulsen.
It is about life - when it is running it’s course in harmony and when people lose their sense of purpose. When getting older is not valued and the elderly become useless like the glove that lies forgotten “among the newly fallen foliage”.
Malan uses the rose hip as an image of growing older yet staying strong.
The poems also portray the connection between society, individual, nature and memory.
