New poetry collection
“Vit skulu upp og avstað” is the title of a new poetry collection by poet and translator Heðin M. Klein.
The English translation of the title is “We have to up and go” and is a reference to the hurry that defines today’s society. We’re in such a hurry, that we don’t have time to think. The poet questions why everything has to happen in such a high pace. He also considers the question of what time is, and how difficult it is to get a hold of time.
Heðin M. Klein is also an experienced translator and the second half of the collection is translations of Danish Inger Christensen, American Louise Glück, Chilean Pablo Neruda, Polish Zbigniew Herbert, American Robert Bly and Italian Dante Algheri.
“Vit skulu upp og avstað” is published by Sprotin.
