Are you organising a literature festival or conference abroad? If so you can apply for a grant to invite Faroese authors and lecturers from the Faroe Islands to your events.
Travel grants for Faroese authors, lecturers and translators invited to attend festivals or conferences abroad
FarLit has a limited annual amount to be allocated to Faroese authors, lecturers and translators who have been invited to festivals or conferences abroad.
Please use the standard application form, without filling in travel details.
There is no application deadline.
FarLit’s support will normally cover airline tickets (economy class) only.
Applications must be sent by the organiser from the foreign country at least one month ahead of the planned event, by using the application form (below).
Applications are processed year-round (no deadline).
Information about funding awarded by FarLit is to appear in the information about the event, in addition to FarLit’s logo.
After the event the organiser shall send a short report to FarLit with a summary of the event, the number of participants, etc. and preferably also photos (please use the form below).
NO FIXED APPLICATION DEADLINE, but at least one month before the event is to take place.
