Eyðun Klakstein is a journalist by profession, and in November 2021 he made his debut as an author with the crime novel, "List", which received good reviews and was amongst the best-selling novels last year.

The story begins when the most famous painting gets stolen from the National Art Gallery in the Faroe Islands. The Managing Director, Ms Sára Emmudóttir, gets the blame and has to defend herself and the gallery in the media. As the story evolves unknown secrets and trade-offs are uncovered and reveal shady dealings within the arts and politics. The sobered up labourer Jón Amos who used to have his own gallery, gets suspicious that not all is what it seems. He gets caught up in the case and makes his own investigations. He discovers a dangerous conspiracy and has to be courageous and creative to uncover it. It's a difficult task and his life is in danger because the truth can change everything.
