Brahmadellarnir

Congratulations to author Jóanes Nielsen whose novel “Brahmadellarnir” from 2011 was published in German by Random House (btb Verlag) 8 March and will be featured at the Leipzig Book Fair 17-20 March with readings and interviews. The novel which takes place in the Faroe Islands follows two families; the Brahmadellarnir and the Tvibur, and spans over a period of 250 years. “Die Erinnerungen” (The Memories) has been translated into German by Ulrich Sonnenberg. The novel is also translated into Danish and Norwegian and was nomination for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2013.
