"Gentan í verðini" - Rights Sold to Denmark

One of the prominent Danish publishers, Lindhardt & Ringhof, has bought the rights to publish the novel "Gentan í verðini" by Katrin Ottarsdóttir in Denmark. The novel was published in the Faroe Islands by Sprotin in September this year. The story is about a lively, curious but rather introvert little girl from Torshavn who goes to visit her grandparents in a small town. The story is written from the girl's perspective, she is quiet and almost invisible but has great skills in observing everything around her, not least what's happening between the grandfather and the godmother. The novel is expected to be published in Denmark in March 2021.
