New: Short Story Collection

"Kvøl" (Anguish) is the title of a newly published collection of 15 short stories. The stories are a selection amongst 60 short stories that were handed in for a competition initiated by the City Council of Runavík in April this year. Although no designated theme or topic were part of the criteria, the majority of the stories deal with personal struggles which we prefer not to address in public; anxiety, mental violence, depression, lack of self-esteem and other mental challenges people are faced with.

Quite a few new voices are revealed in the book, which has 161 pages and is published by Sprotin. The front page has been illustrated by Beinta Dánialsdóttir.
