Rights sold to Canada
In late August 2020, Faroese poet Lív Maria Róadóttir Jæger published the critically acclaimed poetry collection, "Eg skrivi á vátt pappír" which was also the Faroese nominée for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2021. The poetry collection has been published in Denmark last year, and rights have now been sold to Canadian publisher Le Noroît.
The sample translations that led to the rights being sold were made by Laila Flink Thullesen and Christine Berlioz in connection with some literary events that FarLit organized a month ago in Paris at Le Bicolore in Paris. Le Noroît plans to publish "J'écris sur du papier mouillé" in the first half of 2023.
