New English translation
Icelandic publisher CasaGretto has published Jógvan Isaksen’s 1990 crime novel Blíð er summarnátt á Føroyalandi in a brand new English translation. The novel, titled Sweet is a summer night in the Faroe Islands in English, is the first in the popular Hannis Martinsson series.
The story revolves around the journalist Martinsson, who is suspicious of the supposed accidental death of a woman on a mountain. The mystery becomes even greater, when Martinsson discover’s the woman’s boyfriend dead. He sets out to uncover the truth behind their deaths.
