New work about satirical and comical ballads

Tættir og teiti by Tórður Johannesarson delves into Faroese satirical and comical ballads spanning the last three centuries. Known as Táttayrking, these ballads provide entertainment while offering a snapshot of the era and culture they emerged from. Beyond mere amusement, they have served as vehicles for political commentary and instruments of democracy.
